About VektraTool
VektraTool is a website of free online image, calculator, text and utility tools that run in your browser. There is no signup, and files and text you put into a tool are processed on your device — they are not uploaded to our servers.
Typical jobs include shrinking a photo for an application form, working out a percentage, counting the words in an essay, or creating a QR code. The tools work the same on a phone as on a computer.

Simple, focused tools designed for real daily tasks
Many online utilities ask you to sign up, upload your files to a server or wait in a queue. Each VektraTool tool does one job in your browser, with no account and nothing uploaded.
One job per tool
Each tool does a single task, such as getting a photo under 50 KB or working out a loan payment, so the page opens straight on the controls you need.

The tools come from common jobs: a form’s file-size limit, a passport photo size, a loan repayment, an essay’s word count.

How the tools work
Every tool on VektraTool runs in your web browser. When you compress an image, convert a file, count words or generate a password, the work happens on your own device using standard browser technology. Your files, text and generated values are not uploaded to our servers.
Because processing is local, speed depends on your device. Very large images may take a few seconds on older phones, and each tool explains its limits on its page.

Who runs VektraTool
VektraTool is run by Akmal Ali, its founder and editor, from Lahore, Pakistan. Akmal Ali builds and maintains the tools and is responsible for every guide. The site launched in September 2026. Our postal address and email are on the contact page.

Reliability matters. We hold our tools and reference guides to strict, testable standards before publication.
Tools are tested automatically
Calculations, file handling, error messages, accessibility and phone layouts are covered by automated tests. How each tool processes files, and its limits, is described on how our tools work.
Guides checked against tools & sources
Worked examples are checked against the tools’ own results, and rules set by others, such as passport photo sizes, come only from official sources, which are linked where they are used.
Health and money tools give estimates
The BMI, loan, interest and tax calculators explain their formulas and limits and are not advice; see the disclaimer.
