What is lorem ipsum?
Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin, based on a passage from Cicero’s “De finibus bonorum et malorum” from 45 BC. It has been used as filler text since at least the 1960s, when it appeared on Letraset transfer sheets, and later in desktop publishing software. Because it isn’t readable, it lets people judge a layout without getting distracted by the words.
Replace it with real text before publishing: search engines and readers treat placeholder text as low-quality content.
